Happy Friday! Do you guys have any big plans this weekend? Nicholas and I might try and have a day-date sometime this weekend, those are always fun. It's June, which means HOUSTON is HOT but it also means I'll be sharing my favorite products from last month. I love taking care of my skin, I look forward to my nightly routine. It's a combination of anti-aging serums, eye treatments, face masks and lip scrubs. If you gave me the choice between make-up or skin care products, I will ALWAYS chose skincare products. You can't fake good skin.
I recently purchased a jade roller as well as a gua sha tool. I've seen them all over Instagram recently but both tools have been around for years! The most well-known benefit of using a jade roller is that it helps reduce puffiness and inflammation in the face. Gua Sha for the face and neck is called the Eastern Botox (or Eastern Facelift) for a reason. This TCM (or Traditional Chinese medicine) treatment, when applied to the face, has the following effects: Firms up your sagging facial muscles. Smoothens the skin and reduces the appearance of wrinkles on your face. I recommend putting the stones in the fridge for a few mins before applying them on your skin, it makes them feel nice and cool. In addition to using my new jade tools, I am loving Sunday Riley's skin products. I use Luna Sleeping Night Oil, Good Genes All-In-One Lactic Acid Treatment, and Tidal Brightening Enzyme Water Cream. My skin feels nourished and brighter, because lets face it, I am not getting any younger and sleep for me is still pretty scarce. Thanks kids. :)
Lastly, I've been using Gisou's Honey Infused Hair Oil, I've raved about it in the past. This is now my third bottle! It will forever be my favorite hair oil, it leaves my hair silky-soft and helps tame my hair once I'm done styling it.
Hope you guys have a nice weekend and please let me what your skin-care product routine looks like.
