SPRING BREAK 2021

I’m of the opinion that a Houston spring can almost make up for how bad the weather is the rest of the year. And, wow, were we looking forward to spring after this Texas winter. The kids’ spring break crept up on us, and we decided to have a mini staycation to explore more of our city. This included a visit to one of our favorite areas in town, the Bayou Bend Collection and Gardens. Both Gigi and Sebastian visited as babies, so it was fun to see them run around and enjoy the grounds as small kids. Bashy, always prepared with his gear, was our trailblazer. Gigi was there to catch a bit of sun and look glamorous. I can tell these kids already have good dynamic personalities that are bound to both clash and comfort each other as the years go on. We also took the opportunity to start rebuilding our yard and garden. Spring in Houston means mild weather, a cool wind in the air, blooming buds and a chance to enjoy some sun.
