FALL GARDEN PARTY

I’ve fallen in love with my garden. I especially enjoy walking outside each morning to see what’s new, because there’s always something new. New blooms, new pollinating friends visiting and, of course, new problems to fix. The labor certainly is part of the love, and why not show it off? I’ve looked forward all year to hosting an early fall garden party. It’s that time of year when the weather is particularly nice in Houston, when the blistering heat of summer dials down a bit and you can’t wait to sit outside. I’ve added a whole bunch of roses to this mix: my own home-grown kind and locally grown blooms. I’m reminiscing a lot on my inspiration with roses, and really enjoying adding these colors and scents to the decor.
