BAPTISMAL CELEBRATION PART 2
A well-deserved and much-needed celebration ensued. It’s safe to say the most nerve-wracking part about the kids’ baptismal was wondering whether they would behave in church. Our more recent experiences foretold of crying, screaming and drop-on-the-floor-tantrums. As the hours drew closer, we made sure to have them as calm and happy as possible. Bananas before baptism became a thing, and it worked! Both Gigi and Sebastian were perfect during the ceremony. Sure, it helped that we had a legion of family there to help, but give credit where it’s due: The children were amazing, and they looked beautiful. After a lovely ceremony and lollipop rewards, we came home to celebrate. The anxiety calmed. We were home, with family … the children were surrounded by so many people who absolutely adore them. It was a great day filled with blessings. And we could not have done it without the help of so many: Grandpa and Grandma Villarreal, Papa and Nana Almanza, Grammy Teran … a special shout out to the children’s godparents, Tia Ida Almanza and Tio Nico Villarreal. We are so happy to have you represent our kids and know that you will always look out for them. With another milestone in the books, we look forward to this year and all it will bring. Hopefully the joy and peace we received during Sebastian and Gigi’s baptismal celebration.
Thank you Erica for joining us and for taking a few photos of the celebration.
