VALENTINE WEEKEND

Valentine’s Day weekend was a full-family event this year at Casa Almanza. Nicholas made a lovely dinner of scallops, risotto and spinach on Friday. He even had a spare lasagna for the kids. We enjoyed a heart shaped strawberry cake from Tout Suite and read all the Valentines Bashy received from school. It was absolutely perfect. On Saturday, we lazed around the house and got some well-needed rest. Grandpa Juan even brought over some donuts for the kids. On Sunday, we felt refreshed and adventurous, so we booked a haircut for Sebastian. Knowing how difficult his haircuts have been in the past, we prepared for a rough experience, but he did great! and he looks very handsome. We then went for bubble tea and Korean food on Bellaire. Love definitely was all around, and we were very happy (and lucky) to spend it together.
